MEMEBOX SPECIAL #35 MOISTURE SURGE

Dry Skin Smackdown is how this box is pitched. It has 6 products which is good and they are all full size.

This box perked me up. I have dry skin so it was an obvious choice. In recent months a combination of western peeling techniques and Korean treatments has really helped my skin so I'm always on the lookout for anything that claims to add moisture.

Here's what's in the box...

insobeau Hairomax Vitamin Stick 10g ($29) - This seems to be a spot treatment for dry patches and can be used before or after make-up application. It also claims to cool, sooth and treat enlarged pores. It is a vitamin (doesn't say which) and hyaluronic formula, guessing the hyaluronic is there to plump. It says it can be used around eye, mouth and cheeks so I would assume it could double up as a lip balm.

Wish Formula Premium Ampoule Mask ($14) - This is a sheet mask that aims to improve the skin's ability to recover whilst moisturising and treating wrinkles. There is no information about ingredients but I'm happy to try new masks as I seem to always use the same Etude and Innisfree ones.

original raw Delux Kit ver 3.0 30ml x 3 ($60) - I am really intrigued and excited by this kit, it has 3 tubes, a cleanser, a patting essence and a jam. The cleanser is one of those that bubble up and trap oxyden into the skin, Black Bubble in this case and the jam is meant to lock moisture in for 48 hours. Instructions say a dime sized amount of cleanser so this should last a while. The jam can be used after essence or more thickly for overnight.

ROSEMOON Rich 53% Collagen Smart Balm 50ml ($47) - I love the sleek packaging on this, makes it look expensive. It's a collagen cream that contains 53% which must be quite good or they probably wouldn't mention it. Collagen is one of my faves as it plumps my skin up so I'm happy this was included as I've never tried Rosemoon before.

imface Vio-Xellose Neck Patch 10ml ($5) - A plant and coconut extract sheet mask for the neck. Good one for the turkey neck as we get older. Never used a neck mask before, this one probably requires a lie down so will keep it for a head to toe night.

Dermahouse Aloe Vera Moisture Mist 120ml ($14) - I love this stuff! I have 4 of them now and use it on it's own or with patting waters and ampoules added, I've decanted and mixed up this with so many things and I use aloe products after my glycolics so well happy to get this. I had difficulty finding this online for a while.

This box is a good practical one, not any high end surprised but things that can be used on a daily basis with a couple of good treatment masks trown in.

MEMEBOX SUPERBOX #80 PUMPKIN PIE COSMETICS

I don't really know what I was expecting from this box, the clue is in the name I suppose but I think the word cosmetics threw me and had me thinking it would be a make-up driven box, however there is no make-up her it's all skincare. For being a superbox it only contains 5 items which is a bit on the light side and it doesn't total up to much value, around $82 if that is to be believed.$5 for a hand cream could be right.

The first tub is the only thing that contains pumkin in the box so it took me a bit to work out what is actually going on? Could the box be curated on the ingredients to make a pumkin pie?

Dearberry Coco's Secret Recipe Pumkin 100ml ($16) - this seems to be a wash off pack for dry skin which is full of beat carotene, the texture is weird, described as spongy but I don't like it's stickiness. It smells ok but nothing to rave about. I can't find the shelf life on mine but don't imagine it to be long.

Insobeau Multi Complex V-Line Repair Sleeping Mask 80ml ($42) - So this is an egg based cream that gets it's yellowness from the yolk. It has a best before June 15 on it which doesn't surprise given all the egg in there. It also contains argan oil, peptides, collagen, albutin and ceramide although I imagine some of them will also come from the egg ingredient. I can't open any more sleeping packs just now so may gift this.

Enesti Shea Butter Hand Cream Lemon & Verbena 50g ($5) - I thik this has been around a few boxes and doesn't wow me, a cheap hand cream is easy to throw in as a filler, what verbena and lemon have to do with pumkin pie I'm not really sure, I know lemon stops apples from turning brown, maybe it has the same effect on pumpkin?

Tonymoly Gold Black Sugar Scrub Mask 100ml ($7) - I have this already and have not opened it as I usually make my own sugar scrubs. I have not tried anything with gold in it though so could be persuaded, either way I will need to get rid of a tub soon.

Enesti Day to Day Rice & Milk Foam Cleansing 160g ($14) - Another Enesti item but unlike the hand cream I want to try this, rice is meant to be good in cleansers in general and as it contains milk proteins it should be nice and creamy on the skin.

So Pumkin Pie Cosmetics you are not, all in all this box bored me a bit. I think the star of the show is the pumpkin mask and the box has been thrown together around it.

MEMEBOX SPECIAL #40 HEAD TO TOE

This box boasts products for hair, body, feet and ahem lady bits!

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Collagen Coating Protein Ion Injection 50ml - I have this already but hair products never go wrong, I've not tried it yet but Elizavecca is a good brand so have high hopes for it.

Tosowoong Micro Face Towel - This is a nice addition as you don't see many accessories in boxes and these things come in so handy. I will be using this alongside some cleansing foam.

Tosowoong Time Shift Serum 20ml - this is a fermented serum that contains snail and galactomyces, another favourite ingredient of mine. I use the Purebess galactomyces all the time and finds it gives good lasting moisture when I need it. I am happy to try this to see how it measures up to other serums.

ProYou Body Scrub Peeling Emulsion - I already use the face peeling gel from ProYou so will give this a go. Thinking of using it on dry skin then showering off.

Milky Dress Foot Essence Sweat Free 30ml - Although the desription pitches this as for foot odour I think it's really just a foot cream. Not sure I will ever use this but I know someone who will.

Last but by no means least....

KSin Bulgarian Rose Feminine Secret Cleanser 200ml - Ok this is a weird one, it's a cleanser to 'leave a woman's secret zone with a sophisticated and attractive floral fragrance' according to the card it gets rid of foul smells. I think if it smells that foul it's a doctor you need not a bottle of rose cleanser! Will I use this? No but only because I think it could irritate the nether regions.

I think the contents fit the theme head to toe well.

MEMEBOX LUCKY BOX #12

This box contains 6 items and one in particular stands out for me.

Again this box contains 3 products I already have but it's not easily avoidable in the meme game.

Unni Recipe Vitamin Recharger Essence 55ml - I love this essence and use it regularly and has niacinamide among it's ingredients which I find agrees really well with my skin and I think is good for tackling wrinkles. I have so much of this stuff that I will be decanting some into a spray bottle.

Langsre Rose Beryy 70 Sleeping Pack 50ml - I love anything rose related and my nemesis box Rose Edition has eluded me 3 times in re-stocks however since I find I am coming across so many nice rose products that I don't care anymore. I won't be opening this just now but can't wait to try.

Pureplus+ Lip Treatment 10g - I have one of these already but glad it's another honey one from the selection as I adore honey, these are all over my house, car and bag and living in a very cold, windy place I use them all the time so again don't mind getting more.

RiRe Pigment  2.5g - Mine came in Gold Clutch, I can work with this but would have loved Club Burgundy so may try and get hold of it. I was astonished to open the pot and not find much in it, half empty really and it's quite chunky stuff that looks like it has black bits in the gold. Will have to play around with this to see what it can do. I think it is probably meant to be used over another colour, intially I'm thinking over something like Maybelline tattoos.

Tonymoly BCDation All Master - I spoke about this in the global 15 box so not going to elaborate other than to say it's meant to be a combo of BB, CC and Foundation.

And last but by no means least the one thing that got me going....

Pisteo Bright & Pure C Serum 7ml - 4 of these retail at $100 which is about right for a meme estimate of price point. I have oggled these on various sites. It is pure vitamin C concentrate and I will be savouring every last drop. Wonder how many penny sized amounts I can get out of 7ml?

MEMEBOX GLOBAL #15

Today my postie was not amused and asked me what the hell I was buying! 9 yes 9 Memeboxes turned up at once. They had been released into my custody from GBLALA prison where most of them were held captive for a month. So here we go the first up:

I'm no longer a global virgin after receiving #15. It is packed with 7 products, 6 of them full size. Opening 9 boxes at once is bound to throw up a few doubles and it did so I will start with one of them:

Tonymoly BCDation All Master SPF30 PA++ 20g - this is a BB, CC and Foundation rolled into one, offering the natural look of a BB, coverage of a foundation and moisturising properties of a CC. I must confess I have never used a BB or CC as I go for full coverage but I have been meaning to hit my stock pile and try some. I am usually put off by the shiny formulas. However I am excited to give this a go.

miss.age Snail Anti Wrinkle Serum 50ml -first time I have come across this brand so nothing to base this on. It says it contains over 550g of snail mucus, no idea if that is good as I'm no expert but I am going to investigate.

Tosowoong Makeon Lip Manicure 30 seconds 5.5g - Heard lots of good things about lip manicures so may experiment a bit with this. You need to apply it and not close your mouth for 30-60 seconds, I take it if you do your lips will be stuck together.

Shara Shara I Wanna Pencil Gel Liner - a gel liner with a matte finish, this has one of those sharpeners on the end which are great whoever invented that idea. I got dark brown but I'm ok with that.

Mise en scene Perfect Repair Treatment Pack 180ml - I love this brand and have one of these in my shower just now so I don't mind this double at all, in fact I don't mind double of anything hair related especially the deep treatments like these. This leaves your hair very glossy I find and it doesn't seem to fade my colours.

Mise en scene Perfect Serum 70ml - Another from this brand that I've not tried. It can be used before or after drying and contains 7 oils! argan, camelia, olive, jojoba, coconut, apricot and marula! aparently it doesn't make your hair sticky or oily so will be happy if that claim is true. It smells great.

Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam 75ml - I have so many cleansers I could open a shop and in fact I think I have this one already but haven't used it, mainly because I need to find out what's in it first. I have heard people saying they like it but I like to check out compatability with my skin.

A nicely packed box which would be great as an introduction to Memebox as it has a good mix of products.

MEMEBOX CHRISTMAS COLLECTION #4 K-BEAUTY WRAP UP NO.2

This being a holiday themed box comes with the online card but I don't mind that at all. There are 6 products all calim to be full size:

O’GCE Minus Touch Cooling Nose Pack Set [Cooling Nose Pack 10pcs + Pore Slim Pad Pouch 10pcs]Me and blackhead patches don't mix! It's not something I have ever had to deal with and have no desire to try. I know that folk who do use them like them but I just don't need them.

ECLADO Real Radiance Whitening Cream 40g

This is aimed at a last step in your routine to brighten and moisturise. It has a few ingredients that stand out for me niacinamide, hyaluronic and liquorice among others. I will definately be putting this to the test.

MINERAL BIO Natural Mineral White Clay Pack 80ml

Detoxify, purify, and refine the skin with the power of white clay is what it says. This is a 2-3 time a week application and has a high mineral content. Again it is a pore cleanser which I am ok with with as I see this as being different from the blackhead products, not sure about clay on my dry skin, have had mixed results with clays before but I will try this at some point.

 

I.MYSS Natural Toc Face Tuning Eye Cream 30ml

I love eye creams and love to massage them in, the Korean way of course. These come in either argan or tea tree and I got argan which made me very happy as neither can I stand the stinging effect or smell of tea tree it also dries out my skin. The packaging reminds me of the Balm.

I.MYSS Cantabile Stick BB Concealer

Another I.MISS item, a concealer stick, got the right colour and from swatching can tell it may work well. Love how the Korean face produst are enriched with things like Viatmin E.

6. XAIVITA+ Goat Milk Skin Care Series

This time I got the hand cream, there were also a bar soap, scrub, wrinkle essence and cleanser. I have long known the benefits of goats milk but not a fan. So glad it wasn't a face product as there is no way I could have used that but on hands I can maybe tolerate.

 I hardly paid anything for this box mabye £6 so really it was ok for the money. I will use most of it and find homes for the rest.

MEMEBOX SUPERBOX #62 JUST GELLIN

The card states that Korea is a major trendsetter and predicts gel formulas and textures are set to make it big! I actually do like gel make-up and this box makes me happy. Being a superbox there are 6 full size products:

Dermahouse Ginseng Peeling Gel 120ml - After recently discovering peeling gels I'm a convert and I also love Dermahouse aloe mist so a winner here. I won't be opening it yet as I'm using the ProYou one at the moment but I am happy this was included especially with the ginseng as it's something I've not experimented with much.

ProYou Priori Vita Bright Moisture Gel Mist 100ml - I love mists and this one smells good, the nossle sprays well unlike many others I've had in boxes and it is meant to hydrate, nourish and prevent wrinkles so that's quite a lot for a mist. I will put this one alongside my aloe ones as I've added some ampoules and patting waters to those.

original raw Blue Jam Water Block Cream 50ml - When I first looked at this I thought it was one of those face packs that come in similar packaging but this one folds out at the bottom so it stands up. The information states it's a favourite among Korean actresses for it's 100 hour effectiveness! It's oil based and has some sort of water retention formula. I will use this as a night pack when my other one is done.

Secret Key Sheer Light Essential Gel Sun Screen 43ml - Well for a start where I am is almost permanent darkness just now so this won't be getting used at the moment. Not a fan of sun screens but will use it when I go abroad. It is Secret Key though, one of my favourite brands.

Hope Girl Waterproof Gel Eyeliner 3g - I love gel eyeliner and in fact most Korean ones, especially Makeon and Holika ones. I recently made a big booboo and bought Anastacia brow wizz in the wrong colour and after trying it once decided it was too dark so money down the drain. This however may have the potential to be used as that.

Holika Holika Holy Berry Tint 8ml - I got the Cherry Berry and there is a Berry Berry which makes me  laugh, didn't that used to be a tropical disease? Anyway I'm not a tint/gloss/shimmer/sheer girl and will end up swapping this one.

Overall I like this box and can't wait to try them all.
