MEMEBOX SUPERBOX #56 YOGHURT COSMETICS

As I'm writing this I have just found out Memebox are stopping all international deliveries from 10th of February! Mixed emotions! I was just getting into the whole craze really but I am not too dissapointed as there are many good places online to buy Korean skincare and make-up. There are rumours abound that they have done this before then came back within a couple of months so that may happen too. I can't get my head around how much money they will lose on this, so doesn't make good business sense but they must know what they are doing.
I am currently waiting on 10 boxes and 2 value sets to come before the cut off.

So here is Yoghurt Cosmetics:

1. Pure Smile Yoghurt Mask Mixed Fruits 23ml x 2 Full sized ($5 each)
I have only ever tried the face pack wash of type of yoghurt mask before and liked them especially the strawberry one so it's interesting to get their version of sheet mask. These fruit yoghurt masks always make me want to eat them. Yoghurt is great for dry skin and this one has banana, kiwi and pineapple.

2. Happy Bath Facial Yoghurt Cleaning Foam 120ml Full sized ($6)
These are randomly selected from 4 types Gentle, Moist, Silky and Firm. I can't work out which I got as it doesn't say on the tube and doesn't tell which is which on the card but I got the yellow and it mentions lemon.

3. ettang Modelling Take Out Cup Pack Yoghurt 17g Full sized ($3)
I bought a pack of these for $14 shipped previously and there were 8 in it. Each tub does 2 applications so I empty out half the mixture and use that. These dry hardish and you pick them off then. They are ok but a bit faffy.

4. Purederm Skin Softening Yoghurt Mask Strawberry 150ml Full sized ($12)
This is the same as the sheet masks but in a bottle. Purederm also do a pack of 10 sachets too in this line. This does leave skin really soft but I can't walk about the same as with a sheet so again a bit of a faff to use.

5. Rappol Calming Cream 150g Full Sized ($59)
So this is the star of the box for me. The Rappol founders started out with a baby range for their own baby and made the products super gentle on skin. This one contains lactic acid. It is meant to moisturise and strengthen the skin.

6. Holika Holika I Want Chu Lip Balm Full sized product ($11)
This is a 2 pack of lip balms in the cute packaging of Holika, one is strawberry flavour the other yoghurt or vanilla as I would describe it. These smell and taste lovely and they do last quite a while before having to re-apply.

MEMEBOX SHARA SHARA MASK SET

This is still availableat $25 with free shipping. I paid $15 using points so about £10 so great value.

There are 11 products in total, 10 of them one time use or traditional masks and a jar of sleeping pack. Here's a run down of them:

First up is the White Stem Sleeping Mask, a 70ml jar.

Then there are 4 sheet masks from the same range Trehalo, Collagen, Coenzyme Q10 and Pearl.

A V shape Pro Heat Mask.

MEMEBOXSPECIAL #73 BRIGHTEN & CORRECT

Another lovely box with 5 full sized products.

1. Ariul Spa Water 24 hours Moisturising De-tox Mask 100ml Full sized ($26)
This cleanser is another bubbling one that gets right down into the pores. It leaves skin sparkling and it's good for sry skin as it also has hydrating properties and doesn't leave the skin tight or dehydrated.

2. AHC Hologram Collection Whitening Serum 50ml Full sized ($89)
I don't know if the price is to be believed and although I have 2 other products from the range I haven't got round to using them mainly because I have heard they contain alcohol which is no good for dry skin, the products are very artistic in design though. This one contains aecerol berry, hyaluronic, niacinimide, ice plant, camu camu berry, kiwi and tomato. Again great ingredients but the added addition of alcohol puts me off.

3. Ladykin Broccoli Super Brightening Cream 60ml Full sized ($14)
I like the idea of this as it has 75% broccoli extract which means vitamin C and E. Can't wait to see if it works on dark circles.

4. Boscians Cycle Repair Whitening Spot 15ml Full sized ($24)
This is great as an eye cream and it's really helped with my skin under them. Green bud complex is the active ingredient and hyaluronic is there to help hydrate. I am glad to have this as a back up. I know it says 15ml but I can't help thinking there is more in these tubes so could be a missprint?

5. WITHME White Perfection Hydrating Cream 120ml Full size ($43)
I am really excited by this. Firstly there is 24,000mg of silk concentrates and ocean complex! I have no idea what those are but doesn't it sound impressive? Apparently the silk formula is rich in amino acids and protein whilst the sea minerals and coral reef extracts revive exhausted skin. This is going straight on my face tonight!

A great box!

MEMEBOX SPECIAL #76 THE EMPRESS'S SECRETS

Another nice box from the recent restocks with 5 products, 4 of them full size. I am not sure what the empress was keeping secret was I a happy to have these shared with me.

1. Lime Nature Double Very Moisturising Cream 75ml Full Sized ($39)
This is an extreme moisturiser with an acai berry base and lots of ancient medicinal herbs such as chuanxiong rhizome, peopny, licorice root, kudzu root, portucala and cornflower. It has deep moisture properties.

2. Daltokki Facial Scrub 90ml Full size product ($30)
I've heard good things about this scrub and it gets a lot of mentions on Facebook pages. It is made from Korean glutinous rice cake which is rich in vitamins and nutrients. I won't be trying it just yet as I have too many others on the go.

3.Tosowoong Syn-akeWrinkle Free Essence 100ml Ful size ($30)
I love this stuff and I love Tosowoong. The first few times of using it I had a kind of stinging sensation but no burning or redness. I think that could be the effect of Syn-ake. I have loads of products from this brand and they all work really well. This is a back up for me.

4. Soy BIO+ Fermented Lumpoule 5ml x 2 Full size is 14 of them ($174)
These are pricey due to being made from 100% Korean fermented soy bean lump hence ampoule and lump combined to make lumpoule. These are an anti-ageing product. I am currently collecting them and now have 6 when I get a few I will try them over a period of time.

5. Purederm Make-up Cleansing Tissue 30 pack Full Size ($6)
I always thought Korean regimes didn't advocate this kind of cleansing and indeed I don't use wipes unless I am going to cleanse with a fluid after as all wipes do is push the dirt around the face. I probably won't use these as tea tree is no good for dry skin.

MEMEBOX MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE

I am in love with this box from the word go! 5 full size products and 2 making an appearance from new professional brand Bory. Here's what's in the box:

1. BORY Aqua Calming Cream 70g Full size product ($54)
So this is a day time moisturiser that strengthens the skin cell wall, containing aloe vera, chamomile, mineral water and Multi EX BSASM and oriental medicines. Healing cell regeneration sounds good to me as do oriental medicines. It comes in a nice glass jar and says professional use. I also have the toner, thanks to the Cleanse Morning and Night box and now the eye serum in this box too. I am also expecting another Bory product soon.

2. BORY Q-10 Moisture Eye Serum 30ml Full size product ($48)
A lifting and hydrating serum containing hyaluronic acid, coenzyme, collagen, panthenol, green tea and rosemary.

3. VELLA Fresh Creamy Soap 100ml Full size product ($24)
Not sure if I can bring myself to use this as it contains Donkey Milk, now I am in no way squeamish but have had a lot of dealing with donkey's so it kinda puts me off. I am sure it is great stuff and the idea of a bubbling cleaser appeals. Maybe as a body wash?

4. SHARA SHARA Lemon Honey All-in-One Cream 200ml Full size product ($13)
This can be used on the face or body and honey and lemon are a great combo for my skin so will give this a go, probably as a body lotion.

5. ECHOICE Pure Lily and Shea Butter Hand Therapy 60g Full size product ($2)
I love ECHOICE Oatmeal cleanser so no reason not to like this and I also find butter based hand cream work for longer so quite please with this addition to the box.

This is a brilliant box and I wouldn't hesitate to snag it again.

MEMEBOX JUNTENSHI SPIDER LIFTING POWDER & ACTIVATING KIT

A few people made funny remarks about this product and perhaps mistakenly think it contains some sort of extract of spiders! It's doesn't, the formula dries on the skin to mimick a stringy spider web like mask you can then peel off. These packs are for really dry skin and contain charcoal, egg white and vitamin tree extract among other things.

The kit contains 12 capsules with the posder and tubes of the activator and a brush to mix and apply.What really attracted me to this was the addition of niacinamide which is a key ingredient in anti-ageing products. The vitamin tree or moringa tree can yield three or four leaf harvests a year. The leaves are packed with vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, potassium, and protein, which makes moringa a self-sustaining tool for fighting hunger in Africa. This is grown in many asian regions too and it's something that really interests me just now as an ingredient.

I am going to have lots of fun using this!

MEMEBOX ALICA HAND AND NAIL CARE SET

The Alica set contains Healing Revital Paraffin Nail Pack and 5 Hand Mask packs. There are 10 cubes of pink paraffin and a plastic cup. You put a cube in the cup and add hot water, the paraffin then turns dark red (too hot) and then bright red(ready to dip) and when it does this you dip the tips of your fingers in a few times until they are coated then take them out and wait 10-15 mins then peel it off.
This is an amazingly softening treatment that really gets into the hard skin around the nails. The left over wax can be re-used and I have managed to get 3 uses out of one cube. The hand masks are left on for about 15 mins too. This has really helped my nails to grow, so much so I have ordered another set!

MEMEBOX DAILY MUST WEARS

I was expecting this to be a make up box however I am not dissapointed as it's a good mix and I feel it's been worth the money. Here's a run down:

1. LAILLY 7 Seconds Makeup Booster 50g Full sized product ($41)
This is essentially a primer. It contains mainly fruit extracts from strawberry, blueberry, acai berry and raspberry. It is meant to reduce the visability of pores and fine lines and help makeup last longer. I am excited to try this as I'm always looking for a good primer.

2. TOUCH COUTURE Perfect Dual Kit 6.5g Full sized product ($35)
So a lip gloss brow gel combo! Dual ended with the gloss at one side and brow gel on the other. I can't stop laughing at the randomness of this item, it's a if we should touch up our brows at the same time we touch up our lips, by the end of the day I would have hairy catepillars if I did that. There's no mention of a selection of colours but the one I have is a fairly bright pink and the brow gel is a brownish colour that would work ok for me.

3.ESTHETIC HOUSE Collagen Jelly Pack Mask Sheet 20ml 5each ($17)
A pack of 5 mask versions of their collagen jelly pack. I have the tub version and have to admit to not trying it yet but collagen is a fairly generic ingredietn that I don't hink you can go wrong with in a mask. Nice to get 5 of them.

4. LA BELLONA Camelia Oleifera Oil Clinic 50g Full Sized Product ($11)
Good to see a hair product in this box. Based on camelia and collagen it can be used as a conditioner or comes with a cute disposable plastic cap so that it can be left on longer for an intensive treatment. Interestingly the instructions make no mention of the cap!

5. MOKSHA Double Ton Up Whitening Cream 50ml Full size products ($40)
There were 3 of these and mine was randomly selected from Bidan Cream, Double Tin Up or Gleam Moisture. They are all moisturisers but with different effects. The Double Ton that I got is for moisturising, brightening, hydrating, clarifying and anti-wrinkle. I would like to get the other 2 especially the Bidan as it's for reparing and contains rose hip oil.

All in all a good value box with a great mix of products.

MEMEBOX CLEANSE MORNING AND NIGHT

It may be surprising to some that I don't own any oil cleansers especially since I have probably had near on 40 boxes now so I was hoping for one here and I got it. Here's what was in the box:

1. SHARA SHARA Dream of Moisture Cleansing Oil 150ml Full size product: 150ml ($13)

This is what I was hoping for an oil cleanser. This version has sweet almond oil, avocado oil, argan oil and honey extract. It says it's non drying which is the most important factor for me in any cleanser. As someone who wears a lot of make up and has dry skin I think I've been needing to test out some oils so will have a shot of this one.

2. YADAH Pore Refining Foam Cleanser 100ml Full size product: 100ml ($15)

This one doesn't interest me so much mainly due to the egg white content as it completely dries my already dry skin so I won't use it.

3. CALMIA Oatmeal Peeling Gel 100g Full size product: 100g ($14)

Love peeling gels and love oatmeal, winning combination. Oatmeal is so good for dry skin and excema, indeed I get through a lot of Aveeno. I have a lot of success with peeling gels and will definatley test this one. I have used probably about a dozen different ones so really know which ones work best and how to use them properley for maximum effect.

 4. BORY White Snow Toner 130ml Full size product: 130ml ($35)

This brand has only made an appearance recently and it seems to be for professional use so I take it that's in beauty parlours and such like. Love that it has hyaluronic acid, licoric extract, and morus alba bark. It's meant to help with pigmentation and dark spots. The bottle feels quite high end and substancial. It says it also contains propriety Lipidure to hydrate the skin, leaving skin clear, moist and healthy. Also it appears to be the kind of toner you put on with cotton wool.

5. NEOGEN Neoday Eye Remover Pencil 2.6g Full size product: 2.6g ($16)

This thing is is going to get a load of use from me, basically it for wither correcting eyeliner mistakes or when you can't get the remnant of it out of your lash line. It's double ended, one side has what I would describe as like a lip balm texture and the orher a sponge. Great product. I have used it a few time and love it.

MEMEBOX NIGHT CARE

This is a great box, packed with an interesting mix of products and all of them seems to be of good quality. Here is a run down of the contents:

1. HEART FACE Ultra Pore Care Sleeping Pack 100ml Full size product: 100ml ($14)

I am loving this already without even trying it, why, a few reasons, it's a fermented Ultra Pore Care Sleeping Pack with 100% galactomyces, natural herbal complex, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera. Straight away 3 of my favourite ingredients. I use Perebess galactomyces all the time and it leaves my skin smooth and bright especially if I'm getting ready to do a full face for a night out. The tub is very pretty like a tree of life with 'your skin as your dreaming' written on.

2. MYPU; Black Pearl & Gold Velvet Gel Eye Patch 1.1g X 60ea Full size product: 1.1g X 60ea ($30)

These patches have a blend of premium collagen, hyaluronic acid and black pearl extracts. They are black in colour and meant to keep your under-eye skin moist, soft and firm, deal with dark circles and fine wrinkles. They should be left on for 20-30 mins and any remaining essence patted in, can't wait to try these. I have seen them in another box and wanted them so happy for these to be included.

3. AVEC MOI Mask 4 Set Full size product: 8g + 16g + 16g + 4.5g ($33)
1) Pony Tail Silky Treatment Pack 8g Love hair packs and this one seems packed with richness and good things such as pito collagen, bean protein, silk protein, botanical plus-10, argan oil, olive oil, shea butter, and royal jelly. I also love how it doesn't need to be rinsed off afterwards and you can go straight to blow drying. Now it does say to tie your hair in a pony and put it into the pack but if you have short hair there's no reason not to just put the pack stright on. It says 5-30 mins but I would leave for the max, doon't see the point of not using something for the full effect.

2) Shea Butter Special Care Foot Mask 16g A good mix of shea butter, macadamia oil, vitamin E in this one, I'm sure we have all used foot pack so no explaining neccessary. Looking forward to trying it!

3) Camellia Special Care Hand Mask 16g Again nice ingredients like collagen, Vit E and Argan Oil. Hand packs ready do make a difference to nail night for me as I tend to get hard skin round my nails from manual labour!
4) Intensive Nail Pack 4.5gI have never tried these but funnily enough had ordered some from Tester Korea just before the box turned up. I have been getting back into doing my nails lately and always have hard cuticles so these should sort that out.There's an impressive list of nourishing ingredients too -  cacao seed butter, milk protein, hydrolyzed bean protein, hydrolyzed collagen, honey, macadamia oil.

4. D’RAN Wonder Lifting Eye Cream 25g Full size product: 25g ($35)I am currently using the D'RAN Aqua Wonder Recovery Eye Cream and it wears well and is not in any way greasy so a lifting one is even better. I really like their products and the ingredients too such as beta glucan, macadamia see oil, argan oil, jojoba seed oil, and EGF.

5. TOSOWOONG Natural Pure Snail Essence 60ml Full size product: 60ml ($24)
I'm a fan of anything with snail and also Tosowoong, love their propolis sheet masks. This one is meant for after toner and contains 20% pure snail mucin and 40% fresh birch tea leaf juice which I am seeing turing up in more and more products lately.

6. SWITCH PATCH Elephant 3-Step! Black Head Nose Pack 7g Full size product: 7g ($3)

I don't suffer from blackheads so tend to avoid these things however it's nice just to unclog nose pores sometimes and I have tried an Elizavecca 3 step set before so happy to hold onto this one and use as well.



This has been a pleasant surprise as I tend to avoid spoilers if I can so memebox have pulled this one of as far as I'm concerned.

MEMEBOX SPECIAL #51 CITRUS CARE

This is another re-stock from a few weeks ago. I was after Rose Edition but it has eluded me 3 times now, however I'm not at all dissapointed with this one. I am on a bit of a vitamin c craze just now so this will do me nicely.

Again nicely packed with products and well curated to the theme. I think the newer boxes lack some of the thought that went into these older ones. so here it is:

1. Unni Recipe Vitamin Recharged Mist 55ml Full Sized ($18)
This is my fourth bottle, I am stockpiling them because it has eveything I want in a mist including niacinamide, lemon, orange, grapefruit and lime extract. It sprays well and is really zingy and refreshing.

2. The Yeon All Day Sun Cream SPF50+++50ML Full Sized ($17)
I always think that Korean sunscreens are different from the stuff we slap on lying on a beach in Spain and they are, and like this one a lot of them can actually be used as a primer under makeup. This is meant for that purpose and it is a blend of aloe vera leaf, broccoli, orange peel, kiwi, lemon grass and avacado, so it's high in vitamin C. Normally I give sunscreens away but I'm tempted to give this one an airing.

3. Tonymoly Clean Dew Red Grapefuit Foam Cleanser 180ml Full Sized ($4)
I think this reminds me a lot of Body Shop Grapefruit range, it says it's non-drying so I will give this a go and see if it takes make-up off. The scent is so fruity.

4. Mizon Refresh Time Grapefruit Body Wash 200ml Full Sized ($14)
Again I have a similar one I'm using now from Body Shop but this seems to smell so much more fruity and natural, will have to compare them. It also seems creamier.

5. Vivito Make-up Starter Intro 700g Full Sized ($35)
This intrigued me most out of everything in the box. It is a tub of wet wipes shaped like flowers but they have a bumpy surface, I guess for exfoliating. Vivito is a range used by make-up artists and I have tried several products and quite like them especially the lipsticks and primers. These have lavender water in them which I like.

6. Vivito Painting Sweet Lip Balm Orange Farm 12g Full Sized ($24)
I have one of these in Berry Farm and love using it. I am obsessed with lip balms anyway but the jelly like texture is a bit different from run of the mill balms. The other thign with Vivito is the packaging is really well thought out and this tin is very nice.

Again another good box that I would be happy to buy again. A must for lovers of citrus.

MEMEBOX SPECIAL #45 CHOCOLATE MANIA

I was so lucky to get this on the lastest re-stock as it was much sought after and what a box! This is the old days of memebox when they were packed with holy grail products and lots of them. There are 8 items in the box.

So what's inside the box of delights:

1. Zamian Super Gold Cacao Pack 150g Full sized ($22)
This is a pampering pack that has 99.9% gold and cacao powders. It is probably all cacao but I don't care, the smell is wonderful and I didn't want to wash it off. It feels so nourishing but since it's the only one I have it will be reserved for a treat.

2. Shara Shara Tempting Avacado Chocolate Massage Cream 100ml Full sized ($11)
Well a blend of chocolate, avacado and banana is to die for and I love the idea of this type of product. It's meant to be massaged onto your face for 10 mins before washing off. Can't wait to give it a go.

3. Neogen Code9 Gold Cacao Cream 50ml Full Size ($30)
From what I've tried so far from Neogen I like this brand, maybe it is a drug store type but everything has delivered on what it says. This is for really dry skin so suits me. It has gold, cacao seed butter, shea butter and olive oil and is aimed at winter skin. I like the fact it's a butter and again I can see this becoming a HG of mine.

4. Missha Cacao and Cream Facial Scrub 95g Full size ($12)
Mmmm cookies and cream! A lovely creamy scrub that smells devine, what more can I say.

5. Skinfood Cacao Hand Balm 50g Full Size ($5)
Cocoa Butter hand cream is always a favourite of mine and this one is no different. I actually like greasy hand creams as I feel they go deeper into hard skin. I love the brand as well.

6. dearberry Miss Mona Lisa Eyebrow 01 Choc Brownie 03g Full Size ($2)
I like the colour it's a pretty good all rounder and I like the tip applicator. I used this a few times and got nice fine coverage.

7. Binucook Cacao Choco Pie Soap 70g Full Size ($7)
Apparently this is modelled on a choco pie that is a popular snakc in Korea. It reminds me of a wagon wheel biscuit. It smells and looks good enough to eat. It's meant to be a face soap but I'll use it for showering instead. Really intrigued by this and wish I could get my mitts on more.

8. Purederm Choco Cacao Collagen Mask 18ml Full Size ($2)
I actually don't know if I could handle a chocolate scented sheet mask for too long without wanting a cup of tea and biscuits at the same time if only to satisfy the sweet cravings I think this will give me. I like collagen masks, in fact I actually like any sheet masks except tea tree.

I am in love with this box and everything in it, I only wish memebox would do more re-stocks on this scale.

MEMEBOX BOXING DAY #5

The last of the boxing day memeboxes and it's a brilliant box for me.

There are 5 full size products and every one of them I love and will definately be using. Here's the contents:

 1. PUREDERM Yogurt Wash-Off Pack 15ea Full size product: 15ea ($7)
Randomly selected from Kiwi, Strawberry

I love wash off masks especially the Innisfree capsules. They are less wasteful than sheet masks, don't get me wrong I love those 2 but these are much more cost effective. I have a box of these already but don't mind getting another even if it is strawberry again. The box imagery makes me want to eat it and indeed I have put all these in my fridge where I always store my wash offs. These are your normal apply and leave for 15 mins then wash off types but the smells is unreal! There are 15 in the box too which is genrous.

2. ECHOICE Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub 110g Full size product: 110g ($5)

Enriched with world-renowned superfood – oatmeal and walnut – the Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub is rich in vitamin, lysine, protein, fiber, calcium, tryptophan, and antioxidant components and thus works to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, deep cleanse, and nourish your body all at the same time! I kept to the description here becuas eI can't do it justice. I love the feel of this scrub and oatmeal is one of the best things for my dry skin.

3. DR.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ 10g Full size product: 10g ($54)

Ok so the main differnece between this and any other cushion is the addition of snail mucin which is meant to help keep the initial dewy look. I can make the colour work and the packaging is very slick, more so than UNNi or Innisfree ones, really looks expensive. The puff is very puffy too if that makes sense. I know there are other BB's with snail added but nto come across a cushion version.

4. AHC Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack 80ml Full size product: 80ml ($30)

I am loving some of the ingredients in this pack such as niacinamide, adenosine, ice plant extracts, snail secretion, and birch tree sap. I will need to check to see what else becuase I know the AHC hologram had a fair bit of alcohol so all being well I will use this.

5. MSTAR Malus Intensive Hair Treatment 30g Full size product: 30g ($14)

I have used the treatment before and I can't rave enough about Korean hair products and this one has pure apple extracts, ceramide, panthenol, and 40 different kinds of naturally-derived ingredients!! If you have dry hair from dyeing then this is for you. I use this before washing, pop it on my hair, wrap in a towel and leave for about half an hour.

Great box for the money, everything I will use and really good value.

MEMEBOX BOXING DAY #4

So if you have read the other reviews on this range you will know I grabbed 4 out of 5 so here is number 4.

This box contains 5 items, again a run of Skinfood. memebox must have a surplus right now. This box is not wowing me really but there are 2 items I do like, so here's what's in the box:

1. SKINFOOD Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake 4g Full size product: 4g ($5)
Randomly selected from 01 Grey Khaki Black, 02 Grey Brown 

So this is an eyebrow powder formulated with cacao extracts. I got one of these already in the grey khaki black combo and swapped it, mainly because I have so many brow products and the colour was way off, however I got the grey brown this time so might experiment, trouble is I've discover Anastasia dip brow pomade!

2. SKINFOOD Tomato Whitening Toner 180ml Full size product: 180ml ($17)

This was a non started for me, I have another one of these that I won't use, however I like swapping and selling to get the ting I want in return so it can go in that pile. I am not a fan of tomatoes and I can't get excited about products containing them. I did receive a sample in a tester korea order for I think it's the Tonlmoly tomatox cream so I will try that and see if I can be converted. The only thing drawing me to this is the vitamin C.

3. NUGANIC Customize Anti-Wrinkle B.B OR Customize Pure Snail B.B 40ml Full size product: 40ml ($54)

I love the fact I got the snail anti- ageing version of this BB. I know the description gives 2 versions but the box says both snail and anti wrinkle so could be a typo? I am going to try this when I finish my current BB. It has an impressive list of ingredients such as adenosine, arbutin and  ginseng extracts and obviously the snail mucin. This isn't a shiny BB either so that's a bonus.

4. SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Meringue Foam 200ml Full size product: 200ml ($13)

Again more Skinfood and again I have this in my swap pile. I read somewhere that egg white is not dry skin friendly so won't use it. In fact it does says this is good for oily skin.

5. TONYMOLY Delight Tony Tint 8.3ml Full size product: 8.3ml ($4)
Randomly selected from 01 Cheery Pink, 02 Red, 03 Orange Cha Cha

I have heard good things about these tints and it doesn't dissapoint, nice and pigmented and not drying on the lips. I got Orange Cha Cha but it's a dark pink? The description says you can do a gradient lip with it but I've never managed to pull that off yet.

There wasn't really much to get excited about in this box and I reckon these holiday editions were just to use up surplus stock but the BB and lip tint are good.
 

MEMEBOX BOXING DAY #3

There were 5 boxing day boxes and I managed to grab 4 of them, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This is number 3

Here's what's in the box:

1. SKINFOOD Facial Water Vita-C Cream 75g Full size product: 75g ($13)

I absolutely love this cream! I have been using it everyday for about 2 months and it melts into the skin leaving my dry skin smooth. I love the fact it contains vitamin C and also Alaskan glacial water. I have a few products with glacial water and it really agrees with me plus it feels like a luxury ingredient even in a drug store rated product. I now have 4 back ups of this cream! I really like Skinfood as a brand and own a massive range of items form them.

2. SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash-off 100g Full size product: 100g ($9)

So this is a facial exfoliator, I already own this but haven't tried it yet, mainly because I prefer peeling gels and also because I have heard the sugar granules are quite big compared with the almost identical Tonymoly one. I plan to use these as body scrubs. The only difference between this and any other scrub is that your meant to leave it on for 15 mins. I don't know if I could without eating it!

3. NEOGEN Code9 Blackfit Eyeliner Black Edition 0.3g Full size product: 0.3g ($16)

I don't normally wear waterproof eye products mainly because I don't like having to rub and tug the skin round my eyes to get them off so I will swap this item. Right now I'm loving Secret Kiss twinkle eyeliner but sadly can't find any more on the market.

4. TOUCH BY LEE KYUNG MIN Ice Sparkling Essence Water 300ml Full size product: 300ml ($34)

I am delighted with this mainly again due to the glacial water. I will definately give this a go whether or not I use it out of the bottle or put in a spray I'll experiment and see if it really does tighten pores. It smells so fresh and clean and healthy. It could also be used to pour onto a sheet mask.

5. THE SAEM Eco Soul Kiss Button Lips 2g Full size product: 2g ($11)Randomly selected from 06 Funky Music, 08 Okay Love, 09 Bittersweet Coffee

I got funky music according to the card or exciting song on the box but either way it's a useable colour which is good as memebox lip product colours are so random. It's a click up pen a bit like touch eclat that is meant to eliminate waste and keep the product clean.

 This box is probabaly the lowest in value of all the Boxing day range however it has my HG in it so I am chuffed and will get my money worth.

MEMEBOX BOXING DAY SPECIAL #2

Love this box! I paid $1.99 with using points and it must be the best bargain yet. Packed with a mix of 12 full and sample size products. Even some of the samples are 50ml.

There are 2 things in particular that I have been amassing from swaps the Mise En Scene Perfect hair treatment and the Hanskin BB cream.

Here's what's in the box:

1. DERMA B Fresh Moisture Body Lotion 50ml Full size product: 400ml ($19)

This is a body body lotion for dry/sensitive skin types. It contains tea tree, peppermint, bergamot, ginger, and has amber notes. It absorbes well, I have a moisture cream from this brand and I'd compare it to the Norweigian formula. It's meant to be kept in the fridge, not sure why? For a sample 50ml is a good size.

2. BANILA CO. Claypatra Mineral Salt Clay Pack 12g X 2ea Full size product: 100g ($22)

This is a 100% pure mud extracted straight from the Dead Sea for removing dead skin and unblocking pores. I have a full size of this but not treid it yet. Again lovely ample sized jars. It's meant to be left on for 10 mins then rubed and massaged before rinsing off.

 

3. HANSKIN Bio Origin Royal Ampoule B.B SPF30 PA++ 5ml Full size product: 35ml ($54)

I absolutely adore this stuff and have managed to get 6 of them now. It's quite pricey to buy a full size so I keep my eye open for them when people are swapping. It's the perfect colour for me and it's got Royal Jelly in it so it's nice and smooth.

4. TONYMOLY BCDation All Master SPF30 PA++ 20g Full size product: 50g ($24)

I only learned about BCD creams recently and this one is ok but not tried any other to compare. So it's meant to be a base, BB, CC and foundation all in one.

5. BANILA CO. Clean It Zero 7g X 4ea Full size product: 100ml ($22)

This is a makeup remover balm that goes oily when used, it has papaya, acerola, and herbal extracts which smell nice and it really gets waterproof eyeliner off. There's 4 of these in the box, 2 of each formula and again nice handy size for travelling.

6. DR.YOUNG Pore Syok-Syok Cleansing Gel 15ml X 2ea Full size product: 150ml ($28)

A new brand on me but cleansers are always welcome, 2 good sized tubes. It's a gel that contains morus bark, agrimonia eupatoria root extracts, and lime extracts plus it's oil free so look forward to giving it a go.

7. TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Dinoplatz Cinema City 10ml Full size product: 30ml ($30)

The description say 'delivering abundant nutrition and moisture to your skin for an egg-smooth texture, this multi-functional CC cream will brighten up your complexion, protect from the sun, and take care of signs of aging as well'. Love this brand and CC creams are great for my complexion.

8. MISE EN SCENE Perfect Repair Treatment Pack 180ml Full size product: 180ml ($16)

This is a deep treatment conditioner and I love the stuff, it smells great and doesn't fade my highlights. I know it's a twice a week treatment but I have been using it more than that purely becuse it's so good.

9. SEVEN DROPS High Protection Moringa Light Sunblock SPF50+ PA+++ 7g Full size product: 50ml ($38)

Sunblock enriched with nourishing moringa extracts and 100% natural. I don't use suncreams so will probably give this away. 

10. RYO Anti Hair Loss Treatment 50ml Full size product: 200ml ($12)

Love the sound of this and new ingredients to try, namely biota seed, coix seed, green tea and gold extracts, although it says anti hair loss it also claims it will strengthen so happy to give this a try.

 11. WITCH’S POUCH Radiant Lolli Tint 03 Funky Bloom 2.5g Full size product: 4.5g ($14)

I have a few of these but admit to not having tried them yet. The colours are quite bright so will proabably keep them until spring. It is meant to be a hybrid gloss and lipstick.

Upcycled Birchboxes

I have a growing mountain of subscrition boxes that never seem to get used and I find stacking them a pain so started playing around with some to create someting a bit more useable.

It was really easy to do, all you need is boxes, a glue gun, some ribbons and embellishments (I chose paper flowers to fit with my room) and some brass paper fastners.

All I did was use 2 box lids for each drawer holder section, cut an end of each and sandwiched them together using glue. I did make sure the bottom of the box/drawer fit snuggly into them before glueing them down.

I used 6 box lids in total to make 3 drawer sections then glue them in place. Make sure to line them up first and just check all your drawers fit well. If need be use a craft knife or very sharp scissors to trim any uneven edges.

The handles are simply some sturdy ribbon. I measured 3 pieces the same length and cut a V into each end to stop it fraying. I then used brass paper fastners that open like butterfly wings and poked them through the ribbon and drawer and fastened at the back.

A very simple idea! I am working on another type of storage using Memeboxes.
